Every new sitter receives initial training and access to BuddyGuard's learning portal, which includes helpful articles, video lessons, and tips to help you develop your skills.

The sitter takes care of the pet in their own home. The service includes walks (for dogs) as agreed with the sitter, maintaining the pet's hygiene and their belongings (e.g., cleaning the litter box for cats), administering medications and supplements (if needed), feeding, playtime, and photo updates. The owner must provide sufficient food for the duration of the stay, as well as any additional supplies they deem necessary.

If the pet's profile indicates good hygiene habits, but the sitter discovers otherwise during their care, the sitter has the right to charge an additional fee at their discretion. Therefore, we encourage you to provide the most accurate information about your pet when filling out their profile.
