Veterinary expenses
If your pet is injured during the service, we cover the costs of veterinary care – up to 15,000 EUR
Property damage
If damage is caused to the home by the sitter or the animal during the stay – for example a broken item or other damage – the insurance covers up to 15,000 EUR for repair or replacement

The crown means the buddy is a professional sitter. They have extensive experience caring for pets and have been on BuddyGuard for at least 6 months. Professional sitters have high ratings from owners and strictly adhere to our quality of service standards.
Up to 7 days before the booking start date you can cancel at any time and the full amount is automatically refunded. If you cancel between 7 and 3 days before the booking, you will receive 50% of the total amount. If you cancel less than 72 hours before the booking starts, the full amount is non-refundable.
The safety of your home and pet comes first. That's why every sitter is interviewed and then verified through Evrotrust. They have completed training and acquired the knowledge needed to care for your pet like the royalty they are. They have signed a contract committing them to a high standard of service.
Every sitter offers a meet-and-greet. However, it is directly tied to a booking. For some sitters it is paid, and for others it is free. By booking a single 30 or 60-minute visit, you can get to know the sitter and decide whether they are the right person for your pet.
